Requirements
Must have
— 4+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or capital management
— Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
— Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with advanced financial modeling; ability to work with large datasets
— Knowledge of AML/KYC frameworks, sanctions screening, and Travel Rule requirements for crypto transfers
— Working knowledge of MiCA, MAS, FCA regulatory frameworks for digital asset firms
— Deep understanding of crypto custody models: hot/warm/cold wallet tiering, MPC, multi-sig, HSM
— Understanding of derivatives treasury — futures margin, options collateral, cross-margin vs isolated margin models

Nice to have
— MBA or Master’s degree in Finance / Financial Engineering
— CFA, CPA, CTP, or ACCA certification
— Hands-on experience managing balances across major CEXs and familiarity with their APIs, margin systems, and withdrawal processes
— Strong knowledge of stablecoins (USDT, USDC, DAI) — minting/redeeming, cross-chain bridging, regulatory treatment
— Experience with institutional custody platforms (Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, Anchorage, or similar)
— Experience with Python or SQL for building reconciliation scripts, automating reports, or querying on-chain data
— Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs, Nansen, Dune)
— Prior experience in TradFi treasury (investment bank, prime brokerage, prop trading firm) with a transition to crypto
— Experience with treasury management systems (Kyriba, SAP Treasury) or crypto-native equivalents

— Operational precision under pressure — crypto markets are 24/7; treasury errors can be catastrophic and irreversible. You must be meticulous with addresses, amounts, chains, and approvals
— Calm decision-making — ability to manage liquidity during extreme volatility events (exchange outages, depegs, black swan events) without panic
— Cross-cultural communication — working with teams across several time zones; liaising with exchange account managers, banking partners, and regulators
— Ownership mindset — proactively identify risks and inefficiencies before they become problems; build processes, don’t just follow them
— Discretion & integrity — handling sensitive financial information and large sums with the highest ethical standards

Responsibilities
Liquidity & cash management
— Monitor and manage real-time cash and crypto positions across all exchange accounts, custodians, wallets, and banking partners globally
— Execute daily rebalancing of assets between exchanges to ensure each trading desk has sufficient margin and collateral
— Optimize idle capital deployment — within approved risk parameters
— Manage fiat on/off-ramp operations and maintain relationships with banking and payment partners

Wallet & custody operations
— Oversee hot, warm, and cold wallet architecture; manage key rotation schedules and signing policies
— Coordinate with Security/DevOps on MPC wallet infrastructure (e.g. Fireblocks, Copper ClearLoop, or similar)
— Ensure proper segregation of client and proprietary assets where applicable
— Execute and approve large transfers with multi-signature and multi-party approval workflows

Risk & counterparty management
— Monitor counterparty exposure across all exchanges and OTC partners; enforce concentration limits
— Track exchange health indicators and maintain contingency withdrawal plans
— Manage margin requirements, liquidation thresholds, and collateral optimization across derivatives venues
— Conduct periodic stress tests on liquidity positions under extreme market scenarios

Reporting & controls
— Produce daily treasury reports: P&L attribution by venue, net asset reconciliation, funding costs
— Build and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility of positions, balances, and settlement status
— Develop and enforce treasury policies, SOPs, and internal controls aligned with audit and regulatory requirements
— Support external audit processes; ensure SOX/SOC2 readiness of treasury operations
— Prepare board-level treasury summaries and cash flow forecasts

Cross-functional collaboration
— Partner with Trading to forecast capital needs for new market launches, token listings, and strategy scaling
— Work with Compliance on AML/KYC requirements for banking and counterparty onboarding
— Collaborate with Engineering to automate treasury workflows — reconciliation, alerting, rebalancing scripts
— Support BD/Legal in structuring token loan agreements and market-making mandates with projects
