PHP Backend Developer (Magento 2) $$

We are looking for an experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our Checkout team and work on a modern e-commerce platform.

If you enjoy building scalable solutions, working with Magento 2, and being part of an international environment — this role could be a great fit.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionality for an e-commerce platform
• Implement new features within the Magento 2 ecosystem
• Collaborate with an international team on complex e-commerce solutions
• Ensure high code quality, structure, and maintainability
• Contribute to improving processes, automation, and performance
• Stay up-to-date with modern development practices and technologies

⚙️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Magento 2 (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Understanding of backend development best practices
• Good level of English (daily communication & documentation)
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Experience working in a remote team environment

➕ Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL
• Familiarity with Xdebug and PHPStorm
• Experience with Git and version control
• Understanding of Scrum / Agile workflows
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Golang / microservices architecture
