Senior Business Analyst $$$$

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will interact with stakeholders, development and quality assurance teams to elicit and analyze requirements, document them and create functional specifications. The candidate will contribute to every stage of the product lifecycle from research and discovery to iterative development and roll-out.
 

LOCATION: Ukraine (remote)
 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

6+ years of commercial experience in Business Analysis.
 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Proven experience of working with external clients or handling outsourcing projects
• Solid expertise in the discovery stage of the project
• Experience and understanding of BA work on the pre-sale stage
• Basic understanding of product management/product ownership
• Understanding of business processes, optimization and automation
• Proven experience in gathering and eliciting requirements and successfully completing analytical assignments
• Knowledge of modelling notations: UML, BPMN, Data Flow
• Knowledge of API documentation and basic principles of relational databases such as MySQL
• Ability to influence stakeholders and closely collaborate with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Ability to translate business needs into software and operational requirements
• Readiness to work in dynamic environment with frequent project change
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
   

DUTIES: 

• Planning, conducting, facilitating discovery and pre-sale project workshops
• Elaborating business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Preparing and presenting discovery artifacts
• Gathering critical information from meetings with stakeholders
• Defining, translating, simplifying, and prioritizing requirements
• Creating business cases and user stories
• Creating conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
• Ensuring that designed solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Performing acceptance testing
• Creating detailed reports and giving presentations
   

NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge of artificial intelligence mechanics and how to work with prompts
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience in building JSON and XML documents and using them in functional specifications
• Exposure to engineering software (CAD/CAM, PDM/PLM, etc.)
