 About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Quality Engineer to define and drive QA excellence across the product lifecycle.
This role is focused on establishing high-quality standards, improving QA maturity, and introducing modern, AI-driven testing approaches to optimize delivery speed and product reliability.
You will act as a key quality owner, working closely with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure scalable and robust QA practices. A strong focus is placed on innovation, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on QA leader who combines deep testing expertise with a forward-thinking mindset and is comfortable shaping QA strategy while actively contributing to execution.
 

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with proven delivery of high-quality software products
• Strong expertise in manual, exploratory, and risk-based testing methodologies
• Experience defining and implementing QA strategies at team or product level
• Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum frameworks (advanced Scrum participation expected)
• Strong experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Zephyr or similar)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, or equivalent tools)
• Good understanding of cloud environments, preferably Amazon Web Services
• Experience testing web and mobile applications, including cross-browser and cross-platform validation

• Upper-intermediate or higher English with ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

   

   

   

• AI & Modern QA (Required)
   
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in QA workflows (e.g. ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for:
  • test design and generation
  • defect analysis and root cause assistance
  • test data generation
  • documentation and reporting
     
• Familiarity with AI-driven QA approaches:
   
  • AI-assisted exploratory testing
  • risk-based testing supported by AI insights
  • intelligent test prioritization
     
• Understanding of limitations of AI systems (hallucinations, inconsistency, non-deterministic outputs)
• Ability to validate AI-generated outputs against real requirements and system behavior

• Interest in applying AI to improve QA efficiency, coverage, and cycle time

• Experience with self-healing test systems and flaky test reduction techniques
• Familiarity with testing APIs for AI/LLM-based systems (e.g. OpenAI API or similar services)
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts relevant to QA evaluation (accuracy, precision, recall at high level)
• Experience mentoring QA engineers and leading QA initiatives across teams

• Define, implement, and evolve QA strategy across the product lifecycle
• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Lead execution of functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing
• Drive defect lifecycle management and ensure high-quality bug reporting
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure clear acceptance criteria and quality alignment
• Integrate AI tools and approaches into QA workflows to improve efficiency and coverage
• Monitor QA metrics and continuously improve QA processes
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level QA engineers
• Act as a quality advocate within Scrum ceremonies and product discussions
• Stay current with QA trends, tools, and AI-driven testing innovations
