Role Overview
We are seeking a Game Designer responsible for gameplay design, user experience, and visual quality of playable ads.
In this position, you will design gameplay systems, prepare structured Game Definitions, and ensure that playable ads provide engaging and intuitive user experiences.
You will collaborate closely with developers, QA, and other cross-functional teams to make sure designs align with client objectives, technical limitations, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Gameplay, UX & Creative Direction
- Take ownership of gameplay design, UX, and overall creative vision of playable ads, ensuring clarity and engagement within format constraints.
- Define core gameplay mechanics, interaction loops, and UX principles while maintaining consistency across projects.
- βEnsure the intended player experience is preserved throughout development.
Game Definitions & Validation
- Convert client briefs and campaign needs into clear, structured, and implementation-ready Game Definitions.
- Establish gameplay direction, interaction flows, and the core experience based on requirements.
- Maintain accuracy in documentation to reduce unnecessary revisions.
Design During Production
- Ensure final implementations reflect the intended gameplay, UX, and artistic vision.
- Review playable builds and provide feedback to maintain alignment with design goals.
- Support development teams with clarifications and adjust documentation when technical constraints arise.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Impact
- Guide production teams to ensure proper implementation and consistent design quality.
- Help teams understand the reasoning behind design decisions to minimize recurring issues.
- Support work with complex or design-sensitive projects when needed.
- Develop and document workflows that improve processes and ensure proper use of AI tools within design standards.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Game Designer in mobile games or playable ads.
- Proven track record in designing playable ads or user acquisition gameplay experiences.
- Strong understanding of gameplay systems, UX, and engagement mechanics.
- Experience creating structured design documentation (Game Definitions / GDD).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, QA, production).
- Strong communication skills and ability to guide teams on design direction.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
