Data Analyst (AdTech / Experimentation / Performance Analytics) $$$
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a global product team working on a large-scale mobile marketing platform.
This role focuses on performance analysis, experimentation, and data-driven decision making in a high-load AdTech environment.
You will help identify where the system is losing value, design meaningful metrics, and provide insights that directly impact product and data science decisions.
Responsibilities
Analysis & Insights
- Analyze campaign performance and system behavior
- Identify inefficiencies in pricing, pacing, and traffic selection
- Break down complex performance data into clear, actionable insights
Experimentation
- Define and calculate key metrics (including intermediate metrics)
- Analyze A/B tests and interpret results
- Ensure fair experiment conditions (budget, traffic, etc.)
Data Exploration
- Investigate data quality issues and anomalies
- Build datasets to support modeling and experimentation
- Explore new signals, features, and opportunities
Collaboration
- Work closely with Data Science, ML Engineers, and Product teams
- Translate analytical findings into business recommendations
Current Focus Areas
- Pricing & Budget Scalability — scaling budgets while maintaining performance
- User Selection Optimization — improving conversion rates (CVR) through targeting
- Exploration Efficiency — reducing wasted budget during exploration
- Incrementality Measurement — measuring true lift vs attributed performance
- Fraud Detection & Filtering — improving traffic quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or similar
- ~2 years of experience in a data-related role
- Strong knowledge of statistics, A/B testing, and data analysis
- Experience working with large datasets and performance metrics
- Ability to explain complex data in a clear and structured way
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience in AdTech / marketing / auctions
- Understanding of incrementality and attribution models
- Internship or experience in high-scale data environments
