Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (offline)

Skills:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails for at least 3 years, along with other common libraries such as RSpec ;
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby ;
- Good understanding of MySQL ;
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3… ;
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Gitlab
- Conception & creation of (RESTful-)APIs ;
- Upper-Intermediate Strong level of English.

Weel be a plus:
- Knowledge of PHP (conversion of old systems) ;
- Knowledge of Docker is desirable ;
- Knowledge of jQuery, vue.Js or React.

Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization Communication & coordination with the Tech Lead and Project Manager

Job Description You are responsible for managing the communication between the server and the users. The focus will be on developing all the logic, defining and maintaining a central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will also be responsible for integrating external elements created by your colleagues into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of advanced technology is also necessary. Most of the time you develop new applications in new or existing projects, but sometimes you need to fix bugs.
