About the Role
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining Unity editor tools and plugins for internal
production use. The role involves working with a wide range of gameplay mechanics inspired by
some of the most popular games in the world, building flexible systems that support rapid
development and iteration across different genres.
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on gameplay features in Unity across multiple genres
- Build and maintain custom editor tools, inspectors, and internal plugins
- Design and improve scalable, user-friendly workflows for internal teams
- Maintain and enhance existing systems, resolving bugs and performance issues
- Collaborate with developers, tech artists, QA, and product stakeholders
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable C# code in complex codebases
- Work with multiple Unity rendering pipelines (Standard, URP, HDRP)
- Document systems and support knowledge sharing across the team
Requirements - 5+ years of professional experience in Unity development
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, including architecture, debugging, performance
- optimization, and asynchronous programming
- Strong understanding of Unity architecture, patterns, and best practices, with the ability
- to design scalable and maintainable systems in complex codebases
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience with and enthusiasm for using AI tools in development workflows
- Advanced GIT & version control systems knowledge
- Extensive experience building gameplay systems and developer tools in Unity, including
- custom editor tooling
- Experience working with multiple Unity rendering pipelines (Standard, URP, HDRP)
- across both 2D and 3D projects
- Expertise working with task tracking tools (e.g. Jira, ClickUp, Monday)
- Experience developing and maintaining Unity packages (internal or public)
- Experience with common Unity frameworks and systems (e.g. Cinemachine, Zenject,
- UniRx, tweening libraries)
- Familiarity with Entity Component System (ECS)
- Familiarity with Unity Timeline
Nice to Have
- Experience building visual scripting systems, node-based tools, or blueprint-like
- workflows for designers
- Experience contributing to R&D initiatives aimed at improving product quality and team
- efficiency
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- Experience working with After Effects
- Experience working with external 3D tools (e.g. Blender, Maya, 3ds Max)
