Senior Full Stack Developer (Frontend-focused)

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer (Frontend-focused) for an Israeli deep tech company building a cloud-native platform for monitoring critical infrastructure at scale.

The product enables utilities, energy companies, and infrastructure operators to detect threats, anomalies, and operational events in real time across thousands of kilometers of pipelines, power lines, railways, and perimeter assets.

The platform processes continuous streams of acoustic sensor data from distributed fiber optic networks, applies machine learning classification, and delivers actionable alerts through a smart command and control interface. It integrates with SCADA systems, Digital Twins, and other enterprise environments.

The frontend is a critical part of the system, serving as the main interface for maps, dashboards, real-time alerts, and operational workflows used daily by field teams and enterprise clients.

The system is cloud-native, built with Next.js and NestJS in TypeScript, running on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker. The product is already live and used by enterprise customers across multiple industries.

In this role, you will work across the stack, with a strong focus on frontend development, owning features end to end from architecture through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications end to end

• Build modern, responsive, and user-centric frontend applications using Next.js

• Architect and develop backend services and APIs with NestJS

• Own frontend-heavy features from concept to production

• Work closely with product, R&D, and domain experts to translate complex data into intuitive UI/UX

• Leverage modern AI tools to improve development speed and code quality

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to key architectural decisions

• Optimize performance, reliability, and security across the stack

• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices

Tech Stack

• Full stack: Next.js, NestJS (TypeScript)

• Frontend: Chakra UI or shadcn, modern component-driven architecture

• Testing: Cypress

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD

• Database: SQL or NoSQL

• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, ECS or EKS, S3, RDS)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer

• Strong hands-on experience with frontend development, especially Next.js and React ecosystem

• Experience building complex, data-heavy user interfaces

• Experience with Chakra UI or shadcn

• Experience with Cypress or similar testing frameworks

• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and cloud architecture

• Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills

• Experience in startup or fast-paced environments

• Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving skills

AI and Modern Engineering Expectations

• Active use of AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Code Rabbit, or similar

• Ability to use AI to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance product capabilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Experience with Python and Dash

• Background in performance optimization and distributed systems
