Project Manager (Digital Product)
Who we are?
We are building and operating multiple digital-first projects across different industries.
Right now, we are launching a new product in the funeral services space - a digital platform that helps families collect, preserve, and present memories of a person through photos, videos, and written messages. The product is designed to be distributed through funeral homes as an additional service layer.
We are at the early stage, where ideas need to be turned into structured products, processes, and working systems. The goal of this role is to take a raw concept and turn it into a real, functioning product with clear workflows, a working MVP, and first users.
What will you do?
- Take a high-level product idea and break it down into a structured, executable plan;
- Define product scope, user flows, and core functionality for MVP;
- Create clear documentation (PRD, task breakdowns, workflows);
- Set up and manage the full product development process from zero;
- Identify required roles (developers, designers, contractors) and help structure hiring needs;
- Write clear technical and functional requirements for execution;
- Coordinate and manage developers and contractors during product build;
- Track progress, timelines, and deliverables across all workstreams;
- Ensure the product is built according to requirements and works as intended;
- Set up internal tools and systems for task management and tracking (Notion, Jira, etc.);
- Define and structure operational workflows for how the product will run;
- Support launch preparation and initial rollout;
- Help structure go-to-market approach with early partners (funeral homes);
- Identify problems, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and propose solutions;
- Continuously improve product and processes based on real usage and feedback;
What success looks like?
- A clear MVP is defined and launched without unnecessary complexity or delays;
- The product works end-to-end (QR โ upload โ output) without breaking;
- Development is structured, controlled, and delivered within reasonable timelines;
- All tasks, workflows, and responsibilities are clearly documented and organised;
- External contractors (developers, designers) are managed effectively and deliver results;
- The product is successfully tested with initial users or partners;
- Funeral homes can understand and use the product as a service;
- The project moves from idea stage to a functioning, testable product;
- There is no chaos in execution - everything is structured, tracked, and controlled;
Role Details
- Full-time, remote role;
- You work directly with the Director;
- High ownership and responsibility - you are expected to take initiative and drive execution;
- This is a build-from-zero role, not a maintenance role;
- Compensation depends on experience and ability to execute;
- Potential for long-term growth and expanded responsibility if the project succeeds;
Required Experience
- Experience working as a Project Manager, Product Manager, or similar role;
- Experience launching or contributing to digital products (web apps, platforms, SaaS, etc.);
- Ability to structure unorganised ideas into clear systems and workflows;
- Experience working with developers and writing task specifications;
- Understanding of basic product development lifecycle;
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts at once;
- Strong organisational and execution skills;
- Comfort working with ambiguity and incomplete information;
- Ability to take ownership and make decisions without constant guidance;
