Video and Motion Designer

We are seeking a Video & Motion Designer to support us with professional, conversion-focused creative assets for landing pages, emails, and other marketing campaigns. This role is essential for ensuring consistent, high-quality visuals that strengthen brand presence and directly contribute to lead generation and client engagement.

 

Role Overview

This is a combined creative role โ€” video is your primary focus, but you will also produce supporting static creatives (ad banners, thumbnails, social graphics) to ensure campaign-ready visual consistency across both brands.

You will own the full short-form video pipeline: concept, source footage, edit, motion graphics, captions, and platform optimization. The key focus is on high-conversion, scroll-stopping content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and paid ad placements on Meta and Google.



Key Responsibilities
Short-Form Video (Primary Focus)

  • Produce short-form videos (15โ€“90 sec) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, tailored to each platform's format and audience.
  • Create video ad creatives for paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, optimized for performance and conversion.
  • Edit raw footage, add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound design to produce polished, brand-consistent outputs.
  • Develop hooks, pacing, and storytelling structures that maximize watch time and engagement.
  • Adapt and repurpose video content across multiple formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
  • Stay current with short-form video trends, platform algorithm changes, and viral content formats.


Static Creatives (Supporting)

  • Design supporting visual assets: ad banners, social graphics, thumbnails, and campaign imagery for paid and organic marketing.
  • Ensure visual consistency with brand guidelines across both Tree Doctors and ArboStar while adapting tone for each audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, copywriters, and PPC/SEO specialists to align creatives with campaign goals.


Workflow & Delivery

  • Deliver final assets with fast turnaround times and minimal revision cycles.
  • Manage your own creative pipeline โ€” from briefing to final delivery โ€” with minimal oversight.
  • Organize and maintain an asset library of templates, footage, and creative elements.

 


Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in video production and motion design for digital marketing (agency, in-house, or freelance).
  • Basic sound design or music editing skills.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video content, motion graphics, and ad creatives โ€” include platform-native examples (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma/Canva for static asset production.
  • Solid understanding of platform-specific video specs and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
  • Strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and performance-driven creative (hook writing, CTA placement, thumb-stopping visuals).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver to deadlines.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered video or content tools (Runway, CapCut, ElevenLabs, etc.).


Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics templates (MOGRT) or Lottie animations.
  • Previous work supporting SaaS or tech startups.
  • Basic sound design or music editing skills.
  • Experience with UGC-style or documentary-style content production.
