Flexifai is a Payment Service Provider specializing in payment processing solutions for the iGaming industry. We work with a global network of acquiring banks, electronic money institutions, and alternative payment providers to deliver reliable and scalable payment infrastructure for online gaming operators.
As we expand our payment network, we are looking for a Payment Partnerships Manager / Business Development Manager to identify, onboard, and manage relationships with payment providers worldwide.
 

Role Overview
The Payment Partnerships Manager will be responsible for building and managing relationships with payment providers, including acquiring banks, PSPs, EMIs, and alternative payment method providers.
The role covers the full partnership lifecycle, from identifying potential partners and negotiating commercial terms to coordinating onboarding, supporting technical integrations, and managing ongoing relationships to ensure smooth payment operations.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely, while requiring presence at the office at least two days per week.
 

Key Responsibilities
Payment Partner Acquisition

  • Identify and approach new payment providers including acquiring banks, PSPs, EMIs, and alternative payment method providers.
  • Research providers that support iGaming payment processing across different regions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential payment partners.

Commercial Negotiations

  • Lead negotiations with payment providers regarding:
    • Processing fees
    • Transaction limits
    • Settlement cycles
    • Rolling reserves
    • Chargeback thresholds
    • Other operational and commercial fees
  • Support preparation and review of commercial agreements with partners.

Partner Onboarding & Integration

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new payment partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technical Integration.
  • Assist with integration planning, implementation, and testing of new payment providers.

Relationship Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned payment providers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure operational stability and growth.
  • Monitor provider performance including approval rates, volumes, and settlement efficiency.

Operational Support

  • Troubleshoot payment-related issues in collaboration with internal teams and payment providers.
  • Support internal teams in resolving transaction, settlement, or integration issues.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor developments in the global payments ecosystem relevant to iGaming.
  • Identify opportunities to expand payment coverage through new providers or payment methods.

Requirements
Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in payments, fintech, partnerships, or business development roles.
  • Experience working with:
    • Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
    • Acquiring banks
    • Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs)
    • Payment gateways
  • Experience in high-risk industries such as iGaming, Forex, or crypto is considered a strong advantage.

Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of payment processing concepts including:
    • Card acquiring
    • Alternative payment methods
    • Settlement processes
    • Rolling reserves
    • Payment fees and transaction flows
  • Familiarity with payment integrations and API-based payment systems is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.

Languages

  • Fluent English (required).
  • Additional languages such as Russian are considered an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).

Tools & Technology

  • Experience working with project and workflow management tools such as:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Airtable
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to support research, documentation, or workflow automation.

Industry Exposure

  • Experience working with payment integrations or provider onboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with operational tools and structured workflows used in fintech and payments companies.
