M3S (Materialise Medical Manufacturing System) manages the design and production of patient-specific medical devices and implants. M3S is designed to ensure that the entire process of creating personalized medical solutions—from receiving medical image data to delivering the final product—is efficient, scalable, and compliant with the strict regulatory standards required in medical manufacturing. It integrates various tools, workflows, and quality assurance measures to optimize every step in the production chain.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with 1 team (up to 14 people) from the start, and possibly 2 teams later, after the split
  • Lead team’s activities within the Kanban Framework
  • Manage team metrics (e.g., lead time, cycle time, throughput)
  • Promote a culture of learning and adaptation by facilitating retrospectives and supporting teams in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Prepare and maintain all needed documentation, including SOPs (procedures, work instructions, etc.) for the processes
  • Support a transparent process of PBR
  • Drive the establishment of the learning organization through leading, training, and coaching
  • Collaborate with other Agile coaches within the Community of Practice
  • Perform people management activities (assist team members with goal setting and personal development; organize regular follow-ups and performance reviews; share feedback and manage conflicts)

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agile Coach/Scrum Master, or similar role in Agile environments
  • Experience working in distributed environments
  • Software background in any role within the development team. Preferred practical experience in Development or Testing.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Kanban and Scrum, and practical experience applying them in various teams and organizational contexts.
  • Strong facilitation and mentoring skills, with the ability to adapt coaching style to different maturity levels and team dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across different roles and levels of the organization.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving, with a strong customer focus and a commitment to delivering results
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

 

Will be a plus:

  • Valid Agile certifications
  • Familiarity with Agile at scale (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, or other frameworks)
  • Leading or participating in Agile/Scaled Agile transformation processes
  • Understanding of ITIL principles, SOX compliance
  • Working and coaching distributed teams
