Head of Products (Mobile apps)

At Almus, we are looking for a strong product leader who will turn the product into a predictable, manageable and revenue-driven system.

This is a senior role for a business-minded, impactful Head of Products who will own Core and R&D directions, define a clear product strategy, and execute it together with the CEO and C-level leaders.

 

Your mission in this role:

Make the product a core driver of Almus’ growth and profitability.

With you on board:

  • a single, clear product strategy (Core and R&D) is defined and executed,
  • R&D becomes a controlled and predictable process,
  • Product and Monetization teams work against outcomes,
  • product directly impacts growth, scalability and revenue.

What you will be responsible for:

Strategy & Product Leadership

  • Build and execute the company-wide product strategy.
  • Define focus between R&D initiatives and Core products.
  • Own product portfolio prioritization and key product decisions.

R&D

  • Build a structured and predictable R&D process.
  • Own timelines, budgets and expected outcomes.
  • Be accountable for speed and quality of new product launches.

Monetization & Growth

  • Strengthen monetization: paywalls, pricing, trials, subscription mechanics.
  • Drive sustainable product growth.
  • Be accountable for product unit economics (LTV, payback, profitability) in collaboration with CEO and Growth leadership.

Team

  • Lead the product function (Product Managers, Monetization Managers).
  • Set goals and OKRs, ensure execution.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability and high standards.

Cross-functional alignment

  • Work closely with UA / Marketing, Analytics, Design and Engineering.
  • Ensure product decisions are tightly connected to growth needs.

 

What success looks like after 6–12 months:

  • Product strategy is defined, documented and actively executed.
  • R&D process is live and operating under clear rules.
  • Product teams work with clear goals and accountability.
  • Ineffective and “hanging” initiatives are systematically reduced.
  • Product function operates as a scalable system, not a set of individuals.
  • R&D delivers clear outcomes: successful launches and timely shutdowns.
  • Product is a trusted and measurable driver of business growth.
  • Head of Products acts as a true C-level partner influencing company strategy.

 

What we expect from you:

  • Strong experience in senior product leadership roles (Lead Product Manager, Head of Products, etc.).
  • Mandatory experience managing a portfolio of subscription-based iOS products.
  • Proven ability to grow products and monetization in competitive environments.
  • Hands-on experience building and operating R&D processes.
  • Solid understanding of unit economics and product profitability.
  • Strong analytical background and confidence in data-informed decision-making.

  • Ability to make tough decisions and say “no” when needed.
  • Systems-level thinking and strategic perspective.
