Senior Google Ads Specialist to $5700
An international performance marketing company is looking for a Senior Google Ads Specialist to lead and scale its paid search activities. This role involves strategic ownership of the Google Ads channel, campaign optimisation, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the Google Ads channel and align strategy with business goals
- Plan, launch, and optimise high-impact Search campaigns, as well as cross-channel campaigns (Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Remarketing)
- Design scalable campaign structures, bidding strategies, and targeting models
- Analyse performance data to optimise budgets and improve ROI
- Conduct in-depth audits and provide strategic recommendations
- Mentor junior specialists and ensure best practices across campaigns
- Lead A/B testing initiatives across creatives, landing pages, and structures
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and innovations
Resolve complex tracking, compliance, and delivery issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads in performance-driven environments
- Strong expertise in advanced campaign structures, bidding strategies, and multi-channel planning
- Experience with automation tools (Ads Scripts, API workflows, Ads Editor)
- Deep understanding of tracking, measurement, attribution models, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager
- Proven experience managing substantial advertising budgets
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
- Experience with analytics/reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker) is a plus
- Familiarity with PPC/SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Similarweb
- Solid understanding of CRO, user behaviour, and landing page optimisation
Strong communication skills and fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
