Hello! We are Moodro — a team developing autonomous intelligent counter-UAV solutions. Our mission is to protect the lives of military personnel and give them a tactical advantage on the battlefield through innovative anti-drone technologies.

Our solutions are already operating in real combat conditions and strengthening Ukrainian frontline units every day.

About us in facts

  • Our systems are used daily by 100+ combat units
  • 1,500+ EW/ELINT stations have already been delivered to the front line
  • We have official NATO codification and validation from specialized military units
  • Our team includes veterans and engineers who regularly test developments at training grounds

We are growing rapidly and looking for a CHRO / Chief People Officer who will build a strong HR function and become a strategic partner to the C-level team.

This role is for an HR professional and leader who knows how to turn a scaling stage into a well-managed, efficient organization — without losing speed, by building strong management practices, high-quality hiring, and transparent people processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Build a comprehensive HR function: form the HR team, define and implement key HR processes that will support the company’s high-quality growth by 2x over the next 6 months.
  • Strengthen the management team: improve people management standards and shape a culture where accountability, people development, and effective leadership are part of the company’s daily rhythm.
  • Develop a data-driven recruitment strategy focused on quality of hire, including a dedicated approach to attracting engineering and technical talent in a competitive miltech environment.
  • Build a transparent compensation model with clear internal logic and market-based rationale, and adapt it in a timely manner according to business needs and market realities.
  • Ensure a reliable HR operating model under martial law, including military registration, employee reservation/booking processes, interaction with state authorities, and risk management.
  • Develop HR analytics as a management tool for making effective data-based decisions.
  • Implement modern tools for automating HR processes, documentation, and analytics.

You are our candidate if you

  • Have 3+ years of experience as a CHRO, Head of HR, or HRBP in a company that scaled from 150+ employees — and have personally built or transformed an HR function that directly contributed to achieving the company’s business goals.
  • Have experience managing an HR team: building the structure, distributing areas of responsibility, and developing people within the team.
  • Act as a business partner to the CEO and leadership team: you know how to prioritize, highlight risks, align areas of responsibility, and drive decisions through to implementation.
  • Combine strategic thinking with the willingness to personally launch key processes without waiting for ideal conditions.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware, miltech, or deeptech companies.

Why Moodro?

  • Shared values and a strong environment

Moodro brings together veterans, engineers, and diverse specialists. We are building a culture of trust, responsibility, and direct communication. Here, we value real contribution and the ability to take ownership of results — not titles or status.

The company is at a scaling stage, so this role offers the opportunity to build a mature HR function: management practices, recruitment, internal communications, leadership development, and a culture of accountability.

  • Flexible work format

Our hubs in Kyiv and Kharkiv are open to the team, and we also support a hybrid work model.

  • Meaningful work

The Moodro team creates technologies that help protect the lives of military personnel. As Chief People Officer, your work will contribute to building the team behind solutions with real battlefield impact.

  • Stability and transparency

Official employment, transparent financial processes, and social guarantees in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
