Community Manager to $600

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Community Manager who will help support and grow the international startup community of UAtech.
UAtech is a global non-profit initiative supporting Ukrainian and international founders. We organize side events for startups and investors during major technology conferences such as Web Summit, TechCrunch, VivaTech, and others. In 2026 we plan to host more than 20 international events.
You will focus on communication, participant coordination, and supporting the startup community. You will work under the supervision of the Operations Director.
Responsibilities
Working with the startup community
- Support communication with startups, founders, and event participants
- Assist with onboarding startups to programs and events
Startup coordination
- Collect and review startup materials (pitch decks, profiles, and related information)
- Support the startup selection process for pitch sessions
Participant communication
- Prepare and send messages, invitations, and reminders
- Support participant communication before, during, and after events
Community operations support
- Maintain and update participant and contact lists
- Assist with preparing email campaigns (Mailchimp or similar tools)
- Prepare short reports and collect feedback after events
Requirements
Must have
- English level B2+
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Confident use of Google Docs / Google Sheets
- Ability to work full-time remotely
Nice to have
- Interest in the startup ecosystem
- Volunteer or community management experience
- Mailchimp / basic CRM tools
