Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails with basic knowledge of Next / React to $3000

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails (backend) and Next.js (frontend) developer. Experience with Next.js is an advantage. Experience mix: core RoR, with a good understanding and at least one year of experience in Next or React. Frontend, backend, database, API, and more. Teamwork within agile development processes.

Expected workload: 30-40 hours per week (details during interview).
Fully remote.

Required Skills:
- 4+ years of professional Ruby on Rails development experience
- Deep understanding of MVC architecture and Rails conventions
- Proficiency in database design and optimization (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Stimulus/Turbo)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and deployment processes
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara, Factory Bot)
- Understanding of security and performance optimization best practices
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, Digital Ocean)
- Knowledge of Redis and Sidekiq for background processing
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Salary:
- $14-$18 per hour, depending on the agreement. You evaluate our proposal, we evaluate your experience and how well we fit together.
