Process/Platform Architect

We are looking for a strong, confident, and hands-on Process & Platform Architect to design and evolve our document management ecosystem within a regulated banking environment.

This is not a people management role. We are looking for a senior practitioner who can architect processes, define platform boundaries, and establish governance frameworks that will scale across the organization.

You will work closely with the Head of Department and Operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy, service catalogue, and adoption model
• Design storage tiering logic (active/archive), versioning workflows, and integration patterns
• Establish API governance standards (versioning, lifecycle, deprecation)
• Define operating model for metadata ownership, retention policies, and access governance
• Apply LEAN principles to redesign and optimize document lifecycle processes
• Define and track KPIs (adoption, search success, time-to-retrieve, cost-to-serve)

Requirements

• 7+ years in process architecture, platform design, or enterprise solution design
• Strong experience with document management systems and compliance-driven environments
• Technical background with SharePoint, AWS (S3, OpenSearch), Java Spring, APIs
• Experience defining governance frameworks and operating models
• Proven ability to apply LEAN methodology
• Strong stakeholder management skills in complex environments

Nice to Have

• Experience modernizing legacy integrations into API-led architectures
• Microsoft 365 compliance & governance knowledge

• Experience implementing AI-driven automation in document workflows
   

  Location requirement:
  Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, or the Czech Republiс. On-site workshop once per month is expected in Baltic states for 2 days.
