Manual QA Engineer Offline

Required skills:

• 1+ year of commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer
• Practical experience in writing and executing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Strong understanding of web application testing principles (mobile/desktop — as a plus)
• Experience with test documentation: Bug Reports, Checklists, Test Cases
• Experience with API testing (Postman / Swagger)
• Basic knowledge of SQL (writing simple queries, data validation)
• Understanding of test design techniques
• Ability to independently investigate defects and identify root causes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Intermediate English or higher
   

Would be a plus:

• Experience testing mobile applications
• Experience with test management systems (TestRail, QAse, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Cypress or similar)
• Understanding of CI/CD processes
• Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing
   

Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle manual testing of web (and optionally mobile/desktop) applications
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation
• API and database testing
• Close collaboration with developers, designers, and PMs
• Participation in sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives
• Reporting and analyzing test results
• Improving testing processes and suggesting quality improvements
