Data Engineer Offline

BigD are seeking a proactive and motivated Data Engineer to join our vibrant team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, building our own DWH, integrating with API, and other data points. We are interested in a full-time position.
 

We invite those who are fired up to

— Build our own DWH based on PostgreSQL

— Work with big enough datasets, which must be updated at least hourly or daily frequency

— DWH components: AWS (S3, Athena), PostgreSQL, BigQuery

— Data collection: Kafka, Google Analytics, API, and other 3rd-party apps

— Data quality/integrity testing automation

— Develop and support ETL / ELT processes

— Support for saving ML models from the other teams

— Create and support project documentation
 

Essential professional experience

— 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer position

— Python development experience with demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code

— Advanced SQL query writing and optimization skills, with strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

— Hands-on experience with designing and implementing RESTful API’s (Aiohttp, Flask, FastAPI)

— Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL) — Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

— Basic knowledge of technologies like DBT, Databricks, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and Airflow

— Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity analysis
