Position: Head of Legal Transaction Support Department
Reports to: CEO
Team: 5 legal professionals by specialization
General Overview:
The Head of the department is responsible for coordinating all legal processes within the company. The role covers contract management, claims and litigation, labor law, banking compliance, corporate law in the EU, and interactions with regulators and external consultants. The main goal is to minimize legal risks and protect the company’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the department, delegate tasks, and track performance.
Provide legal support in corporate law, including EU-specific corporate law.
Provide legal support in intellectual property and corporate matters.
Organize and oversee claims management and litigation.
Supervise labor relations and interactions with governmental bodies.
Oversee banking compliance, account opening procedures, and ensure KYC/KYB processes are followed with partners and clients.
Monitor legal risks and engage with regulators.
Manage and supervise the work with external legal consultants (including in tax and corporate law matters).
Candidate Requirements:
Higher legal education.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in following industries: payment provides, banking, software development.
Strong knowledge of civil, labor, and corporate law, including EU corporate law.
Experience in managing a legal team.
Experience working with external consultants (tax, corporate law).
English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
