Data Architect

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and own the enterprise data architecture based on Microsoft Fabric (lake-first approach)
• Define and implement Medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
• Establish enterprise data models, conformed dimensions, and standardized business keys
• Design integration patterns between Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric
• Define KPI governance and semantic model strategy (Power BI)
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and auditability in a regulated environment
• Lead data governance design in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders
• Define security architecture (RBAC, RLS, data masking)
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Guide AI/automation readiness through well-structured data products

What we expect from you:

• 7+ years in data architecture / data engineering
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft data stack strongly preferred
• Enterprise data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
• Medallion architecture design
• Domain-driven data product design
• Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse workloads
• OneLake architecture
• Delta Lake fundamentals
• Data pipelines and orchestration
• Capacity planning and performance optimization
• Snowflake integration patterns
• Data sharing and CDC concepts
• Cross-platform interoperability strategy
• Microsoft Purview (catalog, lineage, classification)
• Data ownership frameworks
• RBAC and Row-Level Security design
• Regulatory-grade data controls
• Strong SQL
• Spark (PySpark preferred)
• CI/CD principles for data workloads
• Version control (Git)
