Unity Technical Artist / VFX Artist

We are looking for a skilled Unity VFX Artist to create optimized, readable, and stylized combat effects for a 3D low-poly shooter built for Unity WebGL.

This is a performance-critical role focused on character-based VFX for a heavy infantry unit (β€œFriendly Soldier 3”) using a Gatling machine gun. The game is fast-paced and requires effects that are clear, efficient, and visually strong without creating noise or performance issues.

Engine: Unity (WebGL build)
System: Unity Particle System (basic modules only)

  • One prefab per effect (pooling-ready)
  • Clean hierarchy and naming
  • Texture atlases / flipbooks
  • No unused shaders or materials
  • Optimized and tested in WebGL

  • Strong experience with Unity Particle System
  • Experience optimizing for WebGL or mobile
  • Strong sense of timing and readability in combat effects
  • Able to work within strict performance constraints
  • Understands gameplay-first VFX design
