VIP Analyst

We are looking for a data-driven VIP Analyst to strengthen our VIP and High-Value Player strategy across Casino and Sportsbook verticals. In this role, you will own VIP performance analytics, bonus efficiency evaluation, behavioral segmentation, and manager impact measurement across multiple brands and geographies.

You will play a key role in maximizing VIP lifetime value (LTV), optimizing bonus ROI, and detecting early churn or risk signals within high-value cohorts.
 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
 

1. VIP & High-Value Player Analytics

  • Build and maintain a unified VIP analytics framework across Casino and Sportsbook products.
  • Develop behavioral segmentation models based on betting activity, frequency, stake size, product mix, payment behavior, and engagement patterns — not just deposit volume.
  • Conduct cross-brand and geo analysis (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 markets).
  • Analyze VIP lifecycle: acquisition → activation → growth → retention → churn.
  • Monitor and optimize key metrics: GGR, NGR, ARPU, LTV, Hold %, Bet Frequency, Average Stake.
     

2. Bonus ROI & Offer Optimization

  • Measure ROI of VIP bonuses, free bets, cashback, reloads, and personalized offers.
  • Analyze uplift impact on GGR, NGR, retention, and wagering behavior.
  • Lead A/B testing of VIP promotions and incentive mechanics.
  • Identify bonus abuse patterns and inefficient incentive structures.
  • Ensure bonus cost aligns with profitability and margin targets.
     

3. VIP Manager Performance & Contact Strategy

  • Evaluate impact of VIP manager contact rate on player retention, GGR, and NGR.
  • Measure player performance before and after VIP assignment.
  • Build KPI frameworks for VIP managers (retention rate, reactivation rate, revenue uplift, churn prevention).
  • Optimize segmentation rules for VIP flows and assignment logic.
  • Support data-driven decision-making for VIP team leads.
     

4. Risk, Fraud & Early Churn Detection

  • Detect abnormal deposit and betting patterns (spikes, sharp betting behavior, bonus abuse).
  • Identify early churn signals (decline in bet frequency, reduced stake size, inactivity trends).
  • Collaborate with Risk & Fraud teams to monitor suspicious VIP behavior.
  • Build automated alerts for high-risk or high-opportunity VIP accounts.
  • Support responsible gaming monitoring within VIP cohorts.
     

5. Reporting & Data Infrastructure

  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly VIP performance reporting.
  • Deliver individual VIP dashboards to support personalized account management.
  • Ensure consistency of VIP tagging, segmentation logic, and reporting across brands.
  • Automate reporting processes and improve analytics infrastructure.
  • Maintain transparency of GGR vs NGR impact in reporting.
     

6. Experiments & Product Impact

  • Take analytical ownership of experiments related to payments, withdrawals, limits, VIP flows, CRM mechanics, and loyalty programs.
  • Evaluate impact of operational changes on betting activity and VIP profitability.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations with financial implications.
  • Partner with Product, CRM, Payments, and Risk teams.
     

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • 2+ years of experience in iGaming (Casino / Sportsbook) analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills (experience working with large transactional betting datasets).
  • Solid understanding of GGR, NGR, Hold %, LTV, churn rate, bonus cost mechanics.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker).
  • Experience with A/B testing and experiment evaluation.
  • Strong business mindset and ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
     

Nice to Have

  • Experience with churn prediction or behavioral modeling.
  • Knowledge of sharp betting detection and bonus abuse patterns.
  • Experience with Python (Pandas, statistical analysis).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements across Tier 1 markets.
