Chief Marketing Officer

We’re looking for a data-driven and execution-minded Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and scale our marketing engine across multiple countries, channels, and customer segments.

As CMO, you’ll own the full marketing strategy — from paid acquisition and brand building to retention and lifecycle flows. You'll be responsible for designing and executing a multi-market, multi-channel growth system, deeply rooted in business intelligence and experimentation.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Expansion Manager, Product leadership, and founders to enter new markets, build go-to-market (GTM) plans, and shape how mental health is delivered globally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing strategy – lead integrated multi-channel strategy (paid, organic, lifecycle, brand, PR) across all markets and segments
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics – develop a robust analytics layer to track CAC, LTV, funnel health, and channel attribution; turn data into decisions
  • GTM & expansion – co-develop GTM playbooks for new market launches; support Expansion team with scalable acquisition frameworks
  • Growth – design and implement experiments to drive acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization; identify growth loops and viral mechanics
  • Full-funnel ownership – from lead gen and onboarding to retention and referrals; build customer journeys that work across regions
  • Team hiring & leadership – hire and lead a high-performing team across performance, content, CRM, analytics, and country marketing
  • Collaboration & alignment – build deep integration with Product, Supply, and Expansion; drive shared KPIs and OKR rituals
  • Budgeting & planning – own marketing budgets and growth forecasting per region; run monthly and quarterly planning cycles
  • Brand & messaging – own Clearly’s narrative across cultures and channels; ensure consistency while localizing effectively
  • C-suite impact – report to co-founders; help define company-wide strategy based on user insights and growth metrics

Expectations:

  • 7+ years in senior marketing or growth roles (marketplaces, SaaS, or health tech preferred)
  • Proven track record in international or global markets
  • Hands-on experience with multi-market expansion, performance marketing, brand development, and CRM
  • Deep understanding of funnel optimization, segmentation, retention strategies, and marketing attribution
  • Strategic thinking and structured planning, with the ability to zoom into operational detail when needed
  • Proven leadership experience: hiring, mentoring, and aligning teams across disciplines and time zones
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical skills: cohort analysis, funnel metrics, budgeting, A/B testing, BI tooling (e.g. Looker, GA4, Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Track record of driving results in complex, multistep user journeys
  • Passion for mental health and motivation to build something meaningful and global

 

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in telemedicine or mental health marketplaces
  • Experience with Latin American or Southern European markets
  • Previous ownership of GTM for new countries or product lines
  • Familiarity with growth loops and AI-driven personalisation
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
