Business Development Manager (European Market)

Job Overview

Looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the European market.
The role combines new business acquisition, development of long-term partnerships, and cross-functional project coordination to deliver scalable logistics and e-commerce solutions.

 

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial roles (preferably in logistics or e-commerce)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, ability to work with market insights and data.
  • Experience managing multi-step client projects involving several departments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English
  • Knowledge of an additional foreign language is a strong advantage
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and independence

 

Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business & Sales Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the European region
  • Conduct qualification calls, needs assessments, and present tailored commercial solutions
  • Develop offers, negotiate terms, and oversee the onboarding of new clients

Onboarding & Implementation

  • Coordinate pre-launch and post-launch stages with operations, finance and product teams
  • Ensure SOPs, tariffs, and documentation are prepared and approved
  • Track early-stage client performance and initiate improvements when needed

Client Relationship Development

  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure satisfaction, retention and portfolio growth
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Support clients through integration phases and ongoing commercial communication

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor moves and emerging trends
  • Share insights with regional leadership to support strategic decisions and pricing updates
  • Contribute to regional and global sales strategies and participate in MSR/QSR reviews

Cross-Functional Collaboration & CRM Discipline

  • Align with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and E-commerce Support to deliver seamless client experience
  • Maintain structured CRM updates and accurate documentation of all interactions.
  • Provide clear business updates, forecasts, and insights to the Head of Region

Business Travel

  • Participate in business trips across Europe when required to support sales and client growth.
