Tech Lead/Delivery Lead/Engineering Manager

Insula Labs is an international IT company that helps product and technology businesses scale engineering teams and launch service solutions (outstaff & outsource).
 

We are currently transitioning from classic staff augmentation to a more mature solution / delivery model, which is why we are strengthening the company’s technical core.

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead — a hands-on technical leader who will take ownership of technical expertise, validation, presales, and delivery quality.
 

This is not a theoretical role, and not pure management.
It is a role for an expert, validator, and results-driven leader.

Responsibilities 

Technical Validation

• Validate candidates and specialists
• Conduct and oversee technical interviews
• Design and maintain up-to-date technical tests
• Build skill matrices and grading frameworks
   

Performance & Growth

• Participate in performance reviews (technical part)
• Build Personal Development Plans (PDPs)
• Assess real performance of specialists on client projects
   

Presale & Estimation

• Participate in technical presales
• Estimate scope, timelines, and required resources
• Support Sales in setting realistic client expectations
• Technical Delivery
• Lead technical project kickoffs after sales
• Insure delivery aligns with agreed commitments
• Identify risks early
• Control quality of work delivered by teams and partners
  
  Requirements
• Experience
• 8+ years in IT
• Background as Tech Lead / Engineering Manager / Technical Delivery Lead
• Broad technical exposure (FE / BE / QA / DevOps)
• Experience in presales and estimation
   
• Skills
• Strong systems thinking
• Ability to explain technical decisions to business stakeholders
• Ownership and results-oriented mindset
• English level: B1–C1
