Google Ads Specialist (Search + Display)
Description:
We're looking for an experienced Google Ads specialist who knows both Search and Display networks inside out. This is hands-on work managing live campaigns daily, not strategy decks.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing Google Ads campaigns across Search and Display networks
- Driving high-volume desktop traffic to landing pages
- Keeping CPC as low as possible while maintaining traffic quality
- Building and testing ad creatives, audiences, and placements
- Setting up and optimizing Display campaigns with manual placements and exclusions
- A/B testing ad copy, bidding strategies, and targeting
- Daily monitoring and adjusting bids, budgets, and negative keywords
- Reporting on performance metrics (CPC, CTR, conversion rates, spend)
Must-have:
- 2+ years hands-on Google Ads experience (not just certifications)
- Strong experience with both Search AND Display campaigns
- Proven ability to drive desktop-heavy traffic (not mobile-first)
- Track record of keeping CPC low on competitive terms
- Experience with manual CPC bidding and bid adjustments
- Knowledge of placement exclusions and audience layering on Display
- Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and accounts simultaneously
- Can show real results - screenshots, case studies, or portfolio
Big plus:
- Experience with lead generation campaigns
- Familiar with European markets (FR, BE, DE)
- Experience managing large daily budgets ($500+/day)
- Knowledge of Google Ads scripts or automated rules
- Experience with landing page optimization for Quality Score
