Lead AI Engineer / AI Engineer

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer / AI Engineer to build and scale AI-powered solutions for a modern e-commerce project, with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM systems. This role combines deep AI expertise with solid software engineering to deliver reliable, high-impact AI features across customer-facing and internal platforms.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain AI/LLM-based systems for a production e-commerce environment
• Build, optimize, and evolve RAG pipelines, including data ingestion, retrieval, and generation
• Apply strong software engineering practices to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate e-commerce business needs into AI solutions
• Evaluate and improve model performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• (For Lead role) Drive technical decisions, define architecture, and mentor team members

Required Skills: 

• Strong software engineering background with experience building production systems
• Deep hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks
• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, Google ADK, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of LLM behavior, prompt engineering, and evaluation techniques
