Unreal Engine Senior 3D Artist

About the role:
We’re looking for a 3D Artist who is strongest inside the Unreal Engine – someone who can take existing assets, scenes, lighting and briefs and turn them into polished visual experiences. You’ll be responsible for building and refining environments and camera shots inside UE, preparing client-facing demos, and working closely with Unreal Engine developers on complex, production-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and refine real-time scenes in Unreal Engine using existing and new assets (environment, props, lighting, cameras, post-processing).
  • Create technical specifications for work distribution (modeling, texture production, automation).
  • Prepare visual demos and preview renders for internal reviews and client approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with Unreal Engine developers:
    • integrate 3D content into existing project structure;
    • follow project structure, naming conventions and source-control workflows;
    • help debug visual issues and asset-related problems in complex builds.
  • Optimize scenes for real-time performance if needed, maintaining balance between FPS and time required for optimization.
  • Contribute creatively: propose improvements to framing, motion, lighting, color and overall visual storytelling.
  • Maintain clean asset organization within large UE projects (levels, sub-levels, layers, folders).

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist, with a strong focus on Unreal Engine.
  • Confident hands-on experience with:
    • level building, lighting (lumen) and post-processing in UE;
    • Sequencer / camera work / basic animation;
    • Movie Render Queue or similar rendering workflows.
    • maps vs sub-levels, streaming, asset references;
    • naming conventions, content folders, version control (Perforce/Git, etc.).
  • Comfortable working side-by-side with Unreal devs: reading simple Blueprints, understanding dependencies, and adjusting content to technical constraints.
  • Solid skills in at least one DCC package (Blender, 3ds Max).
  • Strong sense of composition, camera language, lighting and color – you can put together an attractive shot, not just place assets.
  • Portfolio showing work in Unreal
  • Ukrainian/russian language is needed to communicate with the team.
