Junior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant  to join our finance team and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s crypto-asset accounting processes. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in blockchain finance, work with on-chain data, and contribute to financial automation in a rapidly growing Web3 company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily transaction entries into Purchase and Sales Books, ensuring accurate reflection of Accounts Payable and Receivable from source documents to system postings
- Verify the presence and accuracy of primary documents for every transaction, proactively requesting missing documentation from payment initiators when necessary
- Perform daily reconciliations between invoices, accounting records, and bank statements to ensure data consistency
- Conduct regular reconciliations with counterparties to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Execute end-of-period reconciliations of General Ledger accounts, specifically focusing on procurement and sales (Debtors and Creditors)
- Maintain a systematic archive of documents on Google Drive and ensure the timely receipt of all primary documentation

Requirements (Must-Have):
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and basics
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Practical experience with reconciling invoices, payments, and counterparties, as well as correcting discrepancies
- Proven ability to control the timely receipt and management of primary documents
- Experience with systematic document organization and archiving using Google Drive
- High attention to detail with a responsible and independent work ethic

Nice-to-Have:
- Proficiency in the English language is a significant advantage
