DBA Engineer $$$

We are looking for a DBA Engineer to join our teams!

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or similar role
- Expertise in relational databases, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and analytical database ClickHouse
- Resolve complex performance bottlenecks in large-scale environments
- Strong knowledge of database optimization, indexing, partitioning, and replication
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting slow queries across different SQL dialects
- Implement database changes with minimal business impact
- Experience with cloud database platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for database deployment and management
- Experience with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack) for database monitoring and logging
- Familiarity with database backup, recovery, failover, and disaster recovery strategies
- Design and implement HA/DR architectures
- Troubleshooting of problems, problem analysis and solution implementation
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Aurora)
- Knowledge of scripting for automation ( Bash, SQL scripts).
- Understanding of data security best practices, encryption, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and high-traffic applications
- Ability to work with DevOps teams to integrate databases into CI/CD workflows

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance database systems to support large-scale applications
- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and partitioning to enhance performance
- Monitor database health, ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery
- Manage and fine-tune SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse)
- Implement database security policies, encryption, and access control to protect sensitive data
- Automate database backups, replication, and failover mechanisms.
- Work closely with developers to optimize queries, schema design, and data modeling
- Perform capacity planning and monitor database growth trends
- Ensure compliance with data governance, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for database provisioning and configuration, migrations and versioning
- Participate in defining and enforcing data modeling standards and best practices
