Senior Migration Engineer (Freelance)
About the client:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Atlassian Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Organise the migration of Slack and Atlassian from one company to another with data preservation
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as an Atlassian Engineer or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency with JCMA (Jira Cloud Migration Assistant) and CCMA (Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant).
- Ability to map custom fields, issue types, and complex workflows from the old instance to the new one without losing history.
- Skill in auditing 3rd-party marketplace apps (e.g., ScriptRunner, Tempo)
- Experience moving multiple workspaces into a single Slack Enterprise Grid org.
- Familiarity with Slack's Corporate Export tools and handling JSON/CSV data files.
- Experience with connecting Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket "hooks" in the new Slack environment.
- Skills of configuring Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace with Atlassian Access and Slack.
- Experience with Python/Bash Scripting
- Deep SQL knowledge
- English level - upper intermediate or higher
