Team Lead Developer (Backend / SaaS)

We’re helping our partner — a bootstrapped SaaS company — find a Team Lead Developer who doesn’t just manage people, but owns the backend, the architecture, and the outcome.

This role is for someone who:

• thinks in systems,
• is comfortable with responsibility,
• and wants real impact on the product — not just another line in the roadmap.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Leading and mentoring a small, agile development team (code reviews, technical decisions, guidance).
• Taking full ownership of backend development: architecture, stability, and performance.
• Driving the migration from a monolithic system to microservices.
• Staying hands-on with code while acting as a technical leader.
• Contributing to product direction, engineering standards, and best practices.

What we consider essential

• 4+ years of software development experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong backend-focused background with experience in high-load / high-throughput systems.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Laravel
  • Node.js
  • Go (Golang)

   

• Solid understanding of software architecture and microservices design.
• Fluent working English (mandatory).
• A startup mindset: proactive, accountable, and comfortable working in a small team.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and cloud-based services.
• Exposure to serverless architectures.
• Interest in AI and its application in SaaS products.
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain domains.
