Project Overview

We are looking for an Airflow Engineer (Python Developer) to join an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) team. The role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining Apache Airflow workflows that automate the collection and synchronization of identity, account, and entitlement data across multiple systems and applications.

The engineer will play an important role in ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient data pipelines, supporting identity lifecycle management and data integrity across upstream and downstream systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for automated identity data collection and synchronization
• Design, implement, and support Apache Airflow DAGs for orchestrating data pipelines
• Write, optimize, and maintain (PL)SQL queries for ETL processes
• Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and data accuracy
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines to ensure stability and performance
• Maintain clear documentation for workflows, integrations, and technical processes

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with Apache Airflow
• Solid knowledge of (PL)SQL and relational databases
• Data engineering mindset with understanding of automation and data pipelines
• Awareness of security principles and best practices in data handling and identity management
• Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
• Strong written and spoken English

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Identity Governance, IAM systems
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data integration, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible
