Work Conditions
- Full-time, remote position
- Availability at least until 2:00 PM NYC time / 21:00 Kyiv time
- 2–3 month probationary period
- 5 paid sick days
- 20 paid vacation days per year after probation
Responsibilities
- Editing short-form marketing videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
- Creating engaging video content using CapCut (mobile and/or desktop)
- Working with ready-made templates: finding, adapting, and customizing them
- Adding text, subtitles, transitions, effects, music, and basic animations
- Adapting videos to different formats and platforms
- Following brand guidelines and marketing briefs
- Collaborating with the marketing and creative teams
- Making quick edits and iterations based on feedback
- Keeping up with short-video trends and social media formats
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor
- Confident, hands-on experience with CapCut
- Experience editing short marketing or UGC-style videos
- Understanding of social media video formats and best practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Intermediate (or higher) level of English
- Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
Preferred Competencies
- Experience in the health, wellness, or fitness niche
- Experience with TikTok-style performance creatives
- Basic knowledge of motion design or animations
- Multilingual skills (preferred: English, Ukrainian, Spanish)
- Candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered if they have strong practical experience (course-only experience is not sufficient)
Interview Stages
- Interview with HR (30 minutes)
- Test Task (1 day, approx. 2–3 hours of work)
- Meeting with the Operations Manager and Creative Team (45 minutes)
