Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial Python experience
- Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI
- Background in Fintech / Crypto / Web3 / Banking
- Deep understanding of async programming (async/await, event loop)
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Confident REST API design & implementation
- Knowledge of event-driven systems (queues, retries, consumers/producers)
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases
- Daily usage of Docker, docker-compose, Git, Linux
- Solid grasp of SOLID principles & Clean Architecture
- Experience with automated testing:
- Unit
- Integration
- E2E
- Strong analytical thinking & system decomposition skills
- Team player, proactive, ready to take ownership
- English — Intermediate
- Ukraine - native
Nice to Have
- Experience with Temporal.io or workflow engines
- Hands-on with Kafka / event streaming
- Blockchain integrations (nodes, wallets, third-party providers)
Responsibilities
- Improve and extend existing backend functionality
- Develop new features from scratch
- Integrate payment providers & external services
- Write and maintain automated tests
- Work on blockchain & fintech logic
- Optimize solutions for security, performance, and high load
