Top Netics is a venture builder creating innovative products in blockchain, fintech, and emerging technologies. We work with international teams and portfolio companies, and we are looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to help us evolve and scale production-grade backend systems for new markets.

Role Overview

This role is for an experienced backend engineer who values clean architecture, security, and long-term maintainability. You will take ownership of Laravel-based systems, including user-facing APIs, data pipelines, and administrative tools, working closely with frontend and product teams to adapt and grow an existing platform for multiple user groups.

Key Responsibilities

— Take ownership of development, maintenance, and optimization of backend APIs and admin systems built with Laravel and MySQL.
— Design and implement secure, well-structured REST APIs for web and external integrations.
— Implement and maintain robust authentication, authorization, and secure API access patterns.
— Manage background processing, caching, and asynchronous workflows using Redis and RabbitMQ.
— Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for advanced search and indexing use cases.
— Ensure high performance, scalability, and high code quality through automated testing.
— Contribute to DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-related decisions.
— Participate in architectural discussions regarding service boundaries, event-driven architecture, and platform evolution.
— (Optional) Collaborate on Go/Python-based microservices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

— 5+ years of professional backend development experience, with a strong focus on Laravel.
— Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade systems and REST APIs.
— Expert knowledge of PHP, Laravel ecosystem, and relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
— Practical experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch in real-world applications.
— Strong understanding of API security, authentication flows, and microservice patterns.
— Familiarity with Docker, CLI tooling, and Linux-based development environments.
— Comfortable working with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
— Ability to read and write clear technical documentation and collaborate asynchronously.
— English level Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Bonus Points

— Experience contributing to frontend codebases (Vue or React) when needed.
— Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication mechanisms.
— Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and basic application observability.
— Experience with cross-platform environments (mobile or desktop clients).
— Proficiency in Go or Python.
