QA Engineer for Marketing and Content Websites

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in manual QA testing.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and think through edge cases.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
  • Experience testing marketing, content-rich, or SEO-sensitive pages.
  • Experience working with multilingual websites.
  • Understanding of basic SEO principles and why metadata accuracy matters.
  • Experience testing responsive layouts.
  • Understanding of common layout and CSS rendering issues.
  • Cross-browser testing experience in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
  • Ability to use Chrome DevTools for debugging and validation.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or GitLab.
  • Ability to read and understand basic HTML and CSS.
  • Basic understanding of HTTP requests and responses.
  • Understanding of Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) โ€” a plus but not required.
  • Experience testing analytics or tracking tools (GA, GTM, Meta Pixel) โ€” a plus but not required.
  • Basic accessibility awareness โ€” a plus but not required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of marketing and content-driven websites (corporate sites, landing pages, e-commerce pages).
  • Test new features, layouts, and content changes prior to release.
  • Validate correctness of SEO-related elements (metadata, tags, structure).
  • Check visual and functional accuracy across different browsers and devices.
  • Test responsive layouts and identify common layout/CSS issues.
  • Test image-related functionality (formats, responsiveness, lazy-loading).
  • Verify forms, user interactions, conversion paths.
  • Identify UI/UX issues and inconsistencies.
  • Create clear, structured, reproducible bug reports.
  • Re-test fixes and run regression testing.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers.
  • Participate in requirement discussions and flag potential issues early.
