About the role
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Team Lead (Meta-focused) for high-impact e-commerce projects.
We are a small but growing performance marketing team, and we are looking for someone who can become the strategic brain of the projects they lead.
This role is ideal for a strong senior media buyer who already thinks beyond campaign execution, is ready to take ownership over strategy and delivery, and feels capable of stepping into a Team Lead role.
This is not a pure hands-on media buying role.
You should deeply understand Meta performance marketing, attribution, analytics, testing logic, and scaling mechanics - but your primary responsibility will be strategic direction, buyer coordination, client communication, and performance leadership

someone who understands the business deeply, builds growth direction, reviews and helps create actionable game plans, guides media buyers, and ensures execution quality across the team
Responsibilities
- Lead Meta Ads strategy across English-speaking e-commerce markets
- Deeply analyze project performance, customer behavior, attribution, and growth opportunities
- Build and develop strategic growth hypotheses for projects
- Conduct onboarding research for new projects (audience analysis, ICP/avatar research, competitor research, positioning analysis, market insights)
- Review and help create strategic roadmaps and execution game plans for media buyers
- Conduct syncs and strategic reviews with buyers (only if it necessary)
- Guide testing priorities, optimization direction, and scaling strategy
Review project performance and ensure buyers execute according to strategic priorities
- Monitor overall project performance, budgets, ROAS / CPA targets, blended metrics, CAC, LTV, subscriptions, and business-level KPIs
- Analyze cross-platform attribution and understand conversion overlap between channels
- Understand incrementality, attribution windows, assisted conversions, branded search impact, and unified analytics approaches
- Participate in creative strategy discussions:
analyze winning creatives, identify patterns, and help improve scaling direction
Communicate directly with clients in clear English
Collaborate closely with internal team members across performance, creative, SEO, and retention functions
Own project delivery quality and help maintain operational clarity across projects
🎯Requirements
- Strong senior-level hands-on experience with Meta Ads
(TikTok, Pinterest, Google, Snapchat Ads is a plus)
- Proven e-commerce (Shopify) experience with $150K–300K+ monthly ad budgets
- Experience working with Tier-1 markets
- Ability to understand projects on a business level - not only as ad accounts
- Experience communicating directly with clients
- Ability to prioritize, structure work, and coordinate execution with other team members
🎯We are specifically looking for someone with a strong senior media buyer background who feels ready to step into a Team Lead role and take ownership over strategy, delivery, and project coordination
You do not need experience managing large teams
👉 However, you should feel comfortable:
- leading buyers strategically,
- conducting syncs and reviews,
- setting priorities,
- reviewing and helping create game plans,
- and being accountable for project direction and delivery quality
- Strong understanding of attribution, tracking, custom conversions, and cross-platform analytics
- Experience with Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, GA4, or similar tools
👉 Advanced AI user mindset:
experience using AI tools in daily workflows, analytics, strategy, research, or operations (Claude experience is strongly preferred)
- English C1+
👉 Ready to work with a cross-cultural team — primarily Ukraine / Europe / Armenia / Georgia
(English/Russian/Ukrainian-speaking internal communication)
