Media Buying Team Lead / Growth Strategist

About the role
We are looking for a Media Buying Team Lead (Meta-focused) for high-impact e-commerce projects. This role is ideal for a strong senior media buyer who already thinks beyond campaign execution, is ready to take ownership over strategy and delivery, and feels capable of stepping into a Team Lead role.
You should deeply understand Meta performance marketing, attribution, analytics, testing logic, and scaling mechanics - but your primary responsibility will be strategic direction, buyer coordination, client communication, and performance leadership.

Current team structure: 3 media buyers, 1 media buyers assistant, email marketing specialists, SEO specialist, creative strategist, 3 designers
Responsibilities
60% of time - internal project work and team management
- Manage and support the media buying team
- Review campaign launch strategies
- Review game plans and reporting
- Conduct regular syncs
- Collaborate with buyers on campaign optimization
- Review and brainstorm creative strategies
- Monitor progress toward project goals and results
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and team efficiency
40% of time - delivery management and client communication
- Regular client communication
- Prepare reporting and present results
- Answer client questions
- Help resolve technical and organizational issues
- Support with access provisioning
- Help connect analytics tools
- Keep clients informed on project progress
- Ongoing client support and consistent quality communication
Requirements
🎯 Confident spoken English - C1 or strong B2+, with a strong accent and high level of verbal communication
- Experience exclusively with Tier-1 markets (English-speaking countries and clients)
- Primary focus on e-commerce; experience with lead generation or app install campaigns is also acceptable
- Experience with conversion-focused, purchase-focused, and subscription-based campaigns
- Strong hands-on performance marketing experience with ad budgets of $50−100K+ per month
- Experience managing a media buying team is a plus, not required
- Experience using Claude (or similar AI tools) in daily work, including process optimization
