Walking is a fitness app that helps users lose weight and get fit through the simplest activity β€” walking. The app offers personalized walking plans, step tracking, and progress insights to keep users motivated and consistent. By turning walking into a workout, Walking makes it easy to burn calories, improve endurance, and stay active without complicated workout routines.
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Engaging with key stakeholders (product managers, marketers) to identify needs and shape the analytics strategy.
  • Prioritizing tasks based on business value and potential impact, balancing urgent requests with long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and key metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests to validate hypotheses, measure the impact of product changes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collecting requirements and maintaining the event logging template to ensure accurate and comprehensive tracking of user interactions and key product events.
  • Ensuring data quality, uncovering insights, and providing actionable recommendations to improve the product and marketing performance.
     

Requirements

 

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar analytics role.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, including experiment design, statistical tests, correlation analysis, and segmentation.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to effectively communicate insights, presenting analysis results clearly and compellingly.
  • Experience in full-cycle product analytics β€” owning both product and marketing analytics, independently prioritizing analytical tasks, and driving data-informed decisions.
     

Would be a plus

 

  • Python skills (pandas, data visualization, statistics) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with subscription monetization products β€” understanding key metrics, user retention, churn analysis, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of Data Science β€” familiarity with machine learning concepts, predictive modeling, or clustering techniques
