Python Engineer

We are looking for a Python Engineer to develop and maintain high-performance backend systems that power our flagship products. You will work as part of the product team to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable services used by over 6 million users.

What you will do:

• Work with product managers and designers to build solutions that grow the business and delight users.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Design scalable, high-load systems with strong reliability and performance requirements.
• Work on system architecture, refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver new features efficiently.
• Improve internal tools, pipelines, and infrastructure to support development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

What hard-skills are important to us:

• Strong experience with Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching layers, and message brokers.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD.
• Understanding of performance optimization, profiling, and scaling.
• Ability to take ownership and drive solutions end-to-end.
   

Nice to have:

• Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming).
• Knowledge of DevOps or infrastructure automation.
