Web Developer Offline

Project Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Web Developer to join us and help us create modern and engaging web products. The successful candidate will work together with designers, copywriters and developers on a variety of projects ranging from basic landing pages and small websites, through to internal web applications and scalable back ends.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering and testing professional, high-end web templates and plugins

• Exchange information with internal teams for implementation of web based products

• Taking part in customization of product according to clients wishes

• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases

• Assisting in problem solving in both development and production environments

• Working with technical staff to understand problems and finding the way to resolve them

• Introducing new ideas and tools

• Taking extra measure to ensure quality of developed web products.

• Development of software technical documentation

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience of PHP 7, including testing (phpunit), profiling, debugging (Xdebug)

• Have delivered multiple projects using PHP based CMS

• Ability to write clean code and handling difficult and complicated tasks and issues

• Extensive knowledge of one of modern PHP frameworks (preferably Symfony)

• Fluent in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

• Solid experience in dealing with SQL databases (eg MySQL) and ORM solutions (preferably Doctrine 2)

• Good knowledge of source control systems (Git)

• Practical knowledge of Linux based systems and LAMP/LEMP stack setup

• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written (level B2)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in using JIRA and Confluence

• Experience in working according to the SCRUM methodology
