Head of Lead Generation (Upwork)

We at DataOx are looking for an experienced Head of Lead Generation who can manage the Upwork Lead Generation team, build systematic processes, strengthen the team, and ensure a stable and predictable flow of high-quality leads.

 

Requirements:
โ€” 2+ years of lead generation experience specifically on Upwork
โ€” 1+ year in a managerial/lead role
โ€” Experience managing a team of 3+ people
โ€” Deep understanding of Upwork mechanics, rules, and best practices
โ€” English: Upper-Intermediate+
โ€” Experience hiring, onboarding, and training team members
โ€” Strong analytical mindset, systematic approach, proactivity, and high responsibility

 

Nice to Have:
โ€” Experience working in an IT outsourcing company
โ€” Experience with with alternative platforms (Fiverr, Toptal, etc.)
โ€” Experience with lead generation automation tools

 

Key Responsibilities:
โ€” Build and optimize lead generation strategies on Upwork
โ€” Manage and develop the LeadGen team: tasks, KPIs, quality control
โ€” Deliver monthly targets for qualified leads
โ€” Analyze performance and run A/B tests to improve results
โ€” Research competitors and market trends
โ€” Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure an aligned approach to potential clients
โ€” Hire, onboard, and train new team members
