Azure Architect (Cloud and Security Focus)

We are looking for an Azure Architect with strong experience in cloud security, infrastructure design, and enterprise-grade system architecture. The role involves defining and improving cloud structure, ensuring security best practices, reviewing existing components, and guiding the engineering direction of the platform.

Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Architecture:

• Design and refine system architecture on Microsoft Azure
• Structure environments, VNets, Subscriptions, and Resource Groups
• Establish scalable, well-organized infrastructure patterns
• Review current architecture and propose improvements for stability and performance
   

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure-by-default patterns across Azure services
• Enforce network segmentation, private networking, and endpoint hardening
• Apply RBAC least-privilege access models
• Support secure multi-tenant isolation
• Perform cloud security posture analysis (CSPM) and propose remediation steps
• Ensure compliance with best practices (identity, access, encryption, auditing)
   

Technical Guidance

• Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to refine requirements
• Translate architectural concepts into engineering tasks
• Provide guidance on DevOps, networking, and data flows
• Review diagrams, documentation, and solution proposals
   

Optional (Nice-to-Have)

Not required, but beneficial:

• Experience integrating AI or document-processing pipelines
• Understanding of LLM-based extraction or content processing
• Familiarity with Python-based backend services
• Experience with vector search, embeddings, or data enrichment
• Exposure to tools like Content Understanding or similar services
   

Required SkillsCore Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture
   (Networking, Storage, Compute, Identity, Serverless, Monitoring)
• Solid understanding of cloud security, including:
  • Private Endpoints and network isolation
  • Conditional Access & Entra ID
  • Encryption at rest & in transit
  • Threat modeling & risk assessment
  • Azure Policy & governance
• Experience designing distributed, secure cloud systems
• Understanding of CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Bicep — plus)
• Ability to review and create architecture diagrams
   

Soft Skills (Critical):

• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to explain solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Ability to guide discussions and defend architectural decisions diplomatically
   

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Experience with document processing or unstructured data
• Background in AI/ML integrations (not required)
• Experience with secure ingestion pipelines
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of multi-tenant platform patterns
