Manual QA Engineer $$$ Offline
We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our large-scale web application. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to validate new features, investigate issues, and support a smooth release process. This role is ideal for someone who understands how web applications work under the hood and is comfortable analyzing network traffic and working with common QA tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test web application features across different browsers and environments.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases.
- Identify, document, and track issues using Jira.
- Validate bug fixes and re-test resolved issues.
- Review requirements and provide clear feedback.
- Analyze basic HTTP requests and monitor network traffic.
- Collaborate with developers to support the release cycle.
- Pull code and deploy builds locally when needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in manual QA.
- Strong experience testing web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools (Jira preferred).
- Basic understanding of HTTP and ability to inspect network traffic.
- Familiarity with Git (pulling code, running local builds).
- Attention to detail and structured approach to testing.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
