🚀AIMPROSOFT — Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect Opportunity! 

Aimprosoft, a fast-growing IT company, is looking for a Cloud Engineer (Senior DevOps Engineer) / Cloud Architect with deep expertise in AWS  on a contract basis (≈1 year+ ) to join a long-term international project in the Retail & E-Commerce domain.  

The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure powering high-availability systems, large-scale services, and modern containerized architectures. This is a strategic, lead-level position — the architect will shape the technical future of the platform. 

🎯About the project & role: 

You will own the cloud architecture vision for a platform used by large enterprises and content-heavy digital systems. Your mission is to design and evolve a modern cloud foundation that supports high performance, fault tolerance, observability, and efficient CI/CD workflows across multiple environments. 

You will be responsible for: 

• Designing end-to-end AWS architectures for large-scale, high-availability systems. 
• Defining cloud strategy, standards, governance, and best practices. 
• Architecting solutions using EKS/ECS, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Route53, Lambda, and VPC networking. 
• Leading design of containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm. 
• Building fully automated infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, Packer. 
• Overseeing CI/CD ecosystems (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD). 
• Implementing robust observability via Grafana, Zabbix, ELK/EFK, logging pipelines, alerting rules, tracing. 
• Architecting scalable microservices & event-driven solutions using Kafka. 
• Designing and optimizing Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, throughput, durability settings, and consumer design patterns. 
• Working closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure cloud-native application design. 
• Conducting architecture reviews, cost optimization, threat modeling, and performance audits. 
• Ensuring compliance, resilience, and operational excellence across all cloud components. 
• Taking part in decision-making around multi-cloud (Azure, DigitalOcean) when required. 
   

 
🔥What We Need From You: 

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps Architecture, or Platform Engineering. 
• Proven experience architecting high-load, multi-tenant cloud systems on AWS. 
• Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, cloud networking, and resiliency patterns. 
• Expert-level knowledge of Terraform and automated infrastructure. 
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and production-grade orchestration. 
• Solid background in observability, metrics pipelines, and monitoring frameworks. 
• Understanding of DR/HA patterns, SLO/SLA/SLA definitions, and cloud security best practices. 
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and leading major architectural initiatives. 
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or large-scale consumer platforms. 
• Ability to write clean, structured, reusable logic in templates and scripts. 
• Strong analytical mindset—ability to translate business needs into data-driven campaigns. 
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher for communication with international teams. 

📌Nice to have: 

• Experience with streaming processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink, Spark). 
• Experience in ad-tech, content delivery platforms, or online marketing systems. 
• Knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript/NestJS for deeper collaboration with backend teams. 
• Production experience with Kafka, including cluster design & real-world event-driven systems. 
• Experience with DDD, event sourcing, CQRS. 
• Multi-region, multi-cloud architecture design. 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
