Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Vision: Formulate and execute the technology strategy in direct alignment with core business objectives.
• R&D Leadership: Oversee R&D initiatives, identifying and evaluating promising technologies for future integration into the platform.
• Architecture Design: Design, maintain, and evolve a scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant architecture for the entire platform, covering APIs, integrations, data flows, and underlying infrastructure.
• Standards & Practices: Define, document, and enforce architectural standards and best practices across development, CI/CD, testing, and security processes.
• Technical Audit: Conduct regular technical audits of the existing technology stack to proactively identify and eliminate architectural and performance bottlenecks.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure high system performance through continuous code optimization and bottleneck resolution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Development, DevOps, QA, and Product Management teams to guarantee that all implementations adhere strictly to architectural requirements.
• Mentorship: Provide expert guidance and consultation to technical teams on technology selection, critical design decisions, and scaling strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure that all technical solutions meet the required security standards and compliance mandates.

Required Skills and Experience

• Professional Background: Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Principal Engineer / Enterprise Architect for at least 2+ years.
• System Architecture: Deep expertise in the architecture of high-load distributed systems (e.g., $10k+$ requests per second).
• API Design: Experience designing various APIs (REST, gRPC, WebSocket).
• Microservices & Cloud: Excellent understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools, specifically Kubernetes.
• Technology Stack: Experience in researching and successfully implementing modern technology stacks that align with business expectations.
• Databases: Proficiency in working with a variety of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Programming: Hands-on experience with Python and Go.
• Software Principles: Strong command of OOP principles, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience implementing and supporting solutions within the AWS cloud environment.
• Security: Strong grasp of core security principles: digital signatures, encryption, API protection, access control, secure authorization, and authentication methods.
• Decision Making: Proven ability to facilitate and drive effective architectural decision-making processes.

Soft Skills

• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (developers, executive management).
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and experience effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to analyze complex technical challenges and develop innovative, robust solutions.
• Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Language Proficiency

• English: B2 (Comfortable for daily professional communication and reporting to C-level Management).
• Ukrainian: C1 (Comfortable for daily communication with the local team).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with PHP (versions 7.x and 8.x).
